Pastor Scott Anderson: Lead Pastor
Both Scott and Diane have been involved in the communities where they have pastored. Scott has been a Chaplain for the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department since 1997 and as a Chaplain, he provided crisis intervention counseling to the Sheriff deputies of San Diego and to the respective communities. Diane has worked outside of the home as well and has always seen it as an opportunity to be a light in the work force.
Scott has a wide variety of favorite foods but Mexican would be at the top of the list! Nothing beats good guacamole! Diane is a meat and potatoes kind of girl. Scott loves riding his motorcycle, playing golf and scuba diving. He also loves just hanging out with friends. His favorite sports team is the Pittsburg Steelers. Diane enjoys a good book and spending time with family and is a DIEHARD Steelers fan by marriage! Both Scott and Diane have a unique ability to communicate the Gospel in a meaningful and passionate way, when combined with their uncompromising love for God’s people, that makes them an effective team.
Pastor Gary Johnson: Classic Adults
Gary & Suzie have a special passion for ministering to senior adults and together run an Assisted Living Facility for the elderly in their home. Gary has led adult bible studies here at LFA since 2000 and has a pastoral heart for caring for our Classic adults and our homebound saints. He has been known to really enjoy cookies of all types and pizza! Gary really enjoys studying, teaching, golf, traveling, and watching team sports.

Pastors Jeff & Candice Rhea: Revive Young Adults
Jeff works in the community of Lancaster as a Sergeant for the Los Angeles Co Sheriff’s Dept. Candice is an adjunct Instructor for Deaf Studies and a Sign Language Interpreter at Antelope Valley College. Jeff and Candice both love Sushi, and make it a part of their twice a month date night! Their favorite pastime is to take their family camping.
Pastor Mauricio Ibarra: Spanish Ministries
Mauricio has worked for Mercedes Benz for over 22 years. Mauricio loves a good chicken kabob! In his spare time, Mauricio likes to ride his bike or go out for a walk.
Andrew Padilla: Worship Pastor
Andrew Padilla is the Worship Pastor here at Lancaster First Assembly. He and his wife Kim have been married since October 2014. They met in church as they both served in worship ministry together for many years. Their son Bennett, who is the joy of their lives and keeps them on their toes, is almost was born in 2016
Andrew & Kim have a passion to serve the local church, with a focus on family, relationships, and a desire to see people have an authentic life change as they encounter Jesus. Believing in people and working with teams to fulfill the vision and mission of the local church and its leaders. Fulfilling the call of God on their lives by loving family, loving people, and being willing to be used by God.
Andrew & Kim enjoy good restaurants, the beach, traveling, and being with family. We can’t forget that Andrew, Kim, and Bennett are HUGE Dodger fans!

Rick & Donna Chisham: Children’s Ministry
Rick is a member of the Church Board and serves as an usher. Rick is a retired CHP office and currently is a CPR/First-Aid, Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support instructor at the University of Antelope Valley. Rick loves pork chops and Donna loves Mexican food. They love going to Disneyland and traveling.
Trey & Amy Manley: Children’s Ministry
Trey is an Engineer at Edwards Air Force Base and Amy is a stay at home mom. Trey loves ice cream and baseball, and Amy loves Mexican food and ??????.
Don Rhea: Pipeline Men’s Ministry Director
Don has worked in the aerospace industry his entire career and is currently the Vice President and co-owner of Clancy JG International, a Lancaster-based professional services and consulting firm that provides contract support to commercial and Government customers with operations from Alaska to Washington, DC. Don likes all food too much to decide a favorite but he especially likes food someone else pays for or the food he eats while riding his Harley!!! Cyndi enjoys the outdoors and the beauty of God’s creation. She has a palate for fine foods that includes dining at local venues with unique menus.
Joe & Arcelia Hernandez: Missions Trip Directors
Joe is a retired Lineman/Splicer from the City of L.A. Department of Water & Power after 35 years of service. They enjoy all kinds of food as long as it is cooked and flavorful! Getting ready for their next missions trip is one of their favorite pasttimes.
