Adult Bible Class - Book of Revelation
Description: We will learn about God's revealing plan for the end-times. Our goal will be to clearly understand the culmination of present human history, which God began at creation, as recorded in the book of Genesis. Understanding this message is important today as forces and events around us are becoming more and more unsettling, especially to someone without a firm Biblical fram of mind. This book reveals that God, not man, is ultimately in control and, as a result, serves as a wonderful story of hope for all who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. For adults of all ages. Men of the Word - The Truth Project
Description: In a recent study, The Barna Research Group revealed a stunning statistic that continues to reverberate throughout the evangelical world. Only 9% of professing Christians have a biblical worldview. Because of this, today’s believers live very similarly to non-believers. We are, in short, losing our bearings as a people and a nation. The Truth Project is a DVD-based life group curriculum that looks at life from a Biblical perspective with Dr. Del Tackett. Each lesson discusses in great detail the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life. You will be exponentially changed and transformed by this study. We invite you to be a part of this cultural change by participating in the Truth Project this spring/summer semester at Men of the Word. We invite you into a challenging but redemptive journey with us. Childcare is provided at Lancaster First Assembly for those who need it. This LifeGroup is for men of all ages who enjoy authentic friendships, reading and studying God’s word and praying together in a small group setting. Free snack type foods and beverages will also be on hand. Childcare is available at the church.

Description: PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CLASSES BELOW ARE NOT JUST FOR MOMS BUT FOR ALL WOMEN!

We all have a responsibility to mentor/disciple the next generation—as parents, grandparents, aunts & uncles, school teachers, church workers (Royal Family Kids’ Camps) and teachers, intercessors, neighbors, and friends. We are all in need of a new passion and instruction for sowing the seeds of the Truth of Jesus Christ in the younger generations.

Foundational parenting topics covered include introducing your child to faith, creating a faith plan for your family, and assessing the spiritual needs of your children. You'll receive practical tips for the day-to-day life. Invest in your children's future by implementing these powerful truths, and watch them live a life of purpose and faith.

Have a New Kid by Friday. Parents teach their children their ABCs before they enter school; now it's time to teach them the ABCs of life (Attitude, Behavior, and Character). "How?", you ask. Stand up to the plate and take charge. In Have a New Kid by Friday, Dr. Kevin Leman urges you to take his 5-day challenge to implement a new parenting strategy. Based on cause and effect instead of threats or fears, you'll soon be seeing lots of improvement in your child's behavior and experience a closer bond as well. Let the fun begin!
