 
Upward Basketball & Cheerleading is a sports program for children in Kindergarten - 6th grade where Christian values and role models are woven into all aspects of the game. Our mission is to introduce children to Jesus Christ by creating opportunities to serve through sports. Boys and girls are placed on basketball or cheerleading teams and learn the value of sportsmanship through practice, a hand-picked coaching staff, and friendly competition. Practices are held during the week and in league games are on Saturdays.
2008/2009 SCHEDULE
Evaulation dates: Saturdays, October 18, October 25, November 1, and November 8 in
the Champion Center from 10:30am - 2:30pm.
First practice: Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday - beginning the week of December 8. Practices will
be held between 4:00 and 6:00pm (depending on coach availability)
First Game Day: Saturday, January 3, 2009. Games are held on Saturdays and begin at 9:00am.
The last game of the day will be at 2:00pm. The final game day will be on
Febraury 21.
Awards Celebration: Tuesday, February 24 at 6:30pm in the Worship Center
COST
Cheerleading: $75 per player (optional turtleneck available - $15)
Basketball: $75 per player
Late Registration Cost: $85 after November 8
Registration cost includes uniform top & bottom and a practice t-shirt
All participants must attend an evaluation!
Registration begins on the first day of Evaulations (October 18)
